Indianapolis Motor Speedway Wedding // Roger and Rachelle

When Roger asked me if I wanted to shoot the first “officially sanctioned wedding at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway“,  to say I was excited was an understatement! I couldn’t wait – what a neat & once in a lifetime opportunity this was! The day ended up being absolutely beautiful. Fabulous weather and a happy couple made my job easy!

While at the reception we got to hear multiple toasts to the newlyweds, and it really gave a good view into how great this pair is together. Each person who spoke, spoke highly of the two of them – both individually and as a couple – and I got a little bit of insight into how much the two of them had changed each others lives. I’ll be honest – I got a little teary eyed when Roger’s daughter said her relationship has changed with her father because he is a new man, because of how happy Rachelle makes him; and Rachelle’s son, who clearly loves his new step father, practically made the whole room cry with the nice things he had to say. These two have something special, and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it! Thank you so much and I wish you two a lifetime of happiness together!
